1. Praying with the Prayers of Apostle Paul (p.12)
Prayer of Revelation
I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that I may know Him better. I pray that the eyes of my heart may be enlightened in order that I may know the hope to which He has called me, the riches of His glorious inheritance in His holy people, and His incomparably great power for us who believe, according to His mighty strength. (Ephesians 1:17-19)
Prayer of Power
I pray that out of His glorious riches, He may strengthen me with power through His Spirit in my inner being, so that Christ may dwell in my heart through faith. And I pray that, being rooted and established in love, I may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that I may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. (Ephesians 3:16-19)
Prayer of Fruitfulness
I pray that I may be filled with the knowledge of God’s will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that I may live a life worthy of the Lord and please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that I may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified me to share in the inheritance of His holy people in the kingdom of light. (Colossians 1:9-12)
Prayer of a Gospel Worker
I pray that my love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that I may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God. (Philippians 1:9-11)
